Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort which comprises three 55 storey towers of top class hotel rooms. The shape of the three buildings has a very unique look which look like a ship at the top, where the famous infinity pool is located which offer 360 degree of unblocked view. The architecture follows the principles of feng shui to create a perfect balance of energy and hormonisation with the environment. This beautiful creation was design by Moshe Safdie, an Israeli American architect. This guy is really talented and you will see more of his work at Marina Bay.

Use of Natural Sun Lights
The resort’s design allows abundant natural daylight to illuminate indoor areas, reducing the need for additional lighting.
2.Rain Oculus – Sampan Ride at Canal
What make this place even more interesting is the Sampan ride along the canal at the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Don’t forget to make a wish at as you circle the Rain Oculus, a 22 meter diameter acrylic bowl set on a 90 ton steel structure, which collects the rainwater that fills the Canal, very eco-friendly! If you look up, there is a hole that will release more than 22,000 liters of water per minutes. Too bad, I could not see the water release while I was there – Not as lucky. And Sampan ride not yet started as I was there pretty early. Sampan rides only start at 11.30 am onward.

7.ArtScience Museum
Artscience Museum is located next to Marina Bay Sands. The unique architecture is from the inspiration of a lotus flower but some people think it looks more like 5 fingers. It is also designed by the archietect Moshe Safdie.
Can’t decide which bag to get from the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands? Take a break outside and have some fresh air and cool down your thought before making an impulsive purchase. Enjoying the beautiful skyline outside MBS is free.
8.Beautiful Lotus Pond
If you look into the pond, there are plenty of fishes in it. But, no fishing.
9.The World’s First Curved Double Helix Bridge
Just about 5 minutes walk from Marina Bay Sand, you will spot a beautiful pedestrian bridge called “The Helix”, an award winning bridge. The bridge has four viewing platforms to enable you to check out great view of Singapore skyline. This bridge is incredibly stunning at night when the bridge is illuminated by a series of lights.
10.Louis Vuitton Island Maison
This incredible glass pavilion is also done by architect Moshe Safdie and team up with Peter Marino. The maison is located at the water so it is the one and only Louis Vuitton Maison that stand on water! Visitors can choose to make an entrance in three different ways : via an outdoor bridge; by boat, disembarking at a jetty; and from the mall via a tunnel and ascending ‘travelator’ which leads them to the centre of the pavilion.
