It is called &#8220;Van Mieu&#8221; in Vietnamese, sound very similar to Cantonese\/\u6587\u5edf. You will see a lot of similarity from Hanoi and Guangxi as Guangxi is at border near Hanoi. Many of the name of the places in Hanoi sound very Cantonese, believe to get the influence from Guangxi China.<\/p>\n<p>There are in total 5 courtyards in Temple of Literature.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180315_142347.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15155 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180315_142347-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Temple of Literature Hanoi\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" pavilion<\/strong> ( above ) located at the second courtyard,\u00a0 is\u00a0\u00a0a rare example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture,\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">where poem competition used to take place in the ancient time.\u00a0 You will also find Khue Van Pavilion in the 100,000 Vietnamese dong notes.\u00a0 The Khue Van Pavilion is an icon for Hanoi city.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Third Courtyard &#8211;\u00a0Well of Heavenly Clarity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180315_142202.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15153 size-large\" stone turtles which have on its names, hometowns of 1306 prestige scholars who were awarded doctorates during the period of 1480 and 1780.<\/p>\n<p><a Courtyard<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When I was there, there are big group of school students having event at the temple 4th courtyard.
