Paying a visit at UCLA is like coming into the many Hollywood movie scenes or American TV series! There really not many words to describe the aura of this inspiring campus.\u00a0 As I mentioned I love to do University tour, I have done one university tour at Stamford University<\/a> at Santa Clara and since I am back to LA, I thought I should pay a visit at UCLA before I leave America.<\/p>\n

Located at Westwood, this campus is only minutes away from the Pacific Ocean, founded in 1919 and one of the most applied University in America.<\/p>\n

Let’s explore the campus with me !

1. Royce Hall<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the most iconic building in UCLA you can’t missed this. The impressive towers host thousands of visitors every year to concerts, dance and theater.<\/p>\n

2. Power Library<\/strong><\/p>\n

Power Library is just like a movie set but it is a real working library with huge windows in the middle and central dome. One of the original building in the early stage.<\/p>\n

3. Janss Steps\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is another campus icon, you will see a great view of the whole campus from the top. This is also one of the popular spot for public speaking once upon a time.\u00a0 It is also a frequent spot for movie scene.\u00a0 One thing you may want to take\u00a0 note is\u00a0“Don\u2019t ever \u2014 ever \u2014 step on the sixth step,” = It\u2019s bad luck! Based on the tradition.<\/p>\n

4. Garden Sculptures<\/strong><\/p>\n

Garden Sculptures consists of more than 70 statues by famous artist.\u00a0 Go find each and count them.<\/p>\n

5. Wilson Plaza\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another open spaces with beautiful courtyards and green lawns. You will see students enjoying their reading time here.<\/p>\n

Relax under a big tree and meditate at Wilson Plaza is a great way to re-charge.<\/p>\n

6. Student Activities Center<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is another great place to take some pictures with the beautiful building.\u00a0 It is the Student Activities Center where students can get their support here.<\/p>\n

7. Color Theme\u00a0 of UCLA – True Blue\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

People would recognized the big blue color theme, also know for “True Blue” and gold. You would probabaly seen that in the cheerleading teams outfit in any other movie scene.<\/p>\n

These UCLA bikes are also in blue and gold\/yellow.<\/p>\n

8. Chipmuck in UCLA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chipmucks are everywhere and they are not afraid of people in UCLA.<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0<\/strong>Kerchkhoff Patio<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lounges to study and get your food in the open space.<\/p>\n

\"University<\/a><\/p>\n

10. Check out UCLA Police Car!<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you look properly at the police car, you will find “UC Los Angeles Police<\/strong>” printed at the car, so cool.\u00a0 UCLA police is responsible for incidents happened in the campus I guess.<\/p>\n

11. Be with nature\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"University<\/a><\/p>\n

Final thoughts :<\/strong><\/p>\n

Comparing to University of Stamford California<\/a>, UCLA campus has more to offer, the old architectures are simply stunning and the picturesque view at the Janss Steps <\/strong>which we used to see it in the movie set.<\/p>\n
