Food to try in Malaysia :<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n- Satay – Grill meat on bamboo skewers, served with cucumber and onion and dip with peanut sauce.<\/li>\n
- Nasi Lemak – Rice cooked with coconut milk and wrapped in banana leaf with fried anchovies, peanut & chili.<\/li>\n
- Mee Goreng – Spicy noodles<\/li>\n
- Hokkien Mee – Yellow noodles braised in thick dark soy sauce with pork, squid, fish-cake, and cabbage.<\/li>\n
- Chicken Rice Balls – Hainanese chicken rice served in a ball shape, serve well with their special chili and black sauce, mainly in Malacca.<\/li>\n
- Keropok Lekor – Traditional fish cracker.<\/li>\n
- Assam Laksa – Noodles in fish broth with a slightly sour taste from the asam and lime topping.<\/li>\n
- Rojak – Fruit and Vegetable Salad mixed with shrimp paste.<\/li>\n
- Chee Cheong Fun – Rice noodle rolls served in sweet sauce and sesame.<\/li>\n
- Teh Tarik – Pull tea at Indian stall, usually sell Roti Canai too. You can watch them perform the “Tarik” – the pulling action. Very impressive.<\/li>\n
- Roti Canai – Indian influence flatbread dip with curry sauce.<\/li>\n
- Lok Lok – Dip your food, vegetables, and meat in the stick into the hot pot in the center of the table.<\/li>\n
- Cendol – Cold dessert with green jelly made from mung bean flour, served with red bean, coconut milk, and coconut sugar.<\/li>\n
- Ice Kacang – Bean ice with few colors<\/li>\n
