Best Western<\/a> is just few blocks away from Hollywood Boulevard and the well-known Walk of Fame. The walking distance is about 10-15 mins to the downtown of Hollywood. Universal Studio Hollywood is only 5 mins drive from this hotel. Choosing this hotel mainly because of the great location.<\/p>\n

The parking lot is at the first level, hotel rooms start from second and third level.\u00a0 When you check in, tell the front desk you have a car and they will issue a ticket for you to place at front window of your car.\u00a0 Parking fees are needed.<\/p>\n

The lobby and front desk is pretty small, usually one or two staff on duty.\u00a0 Everything is pretty self serve here.\u00a0 You are welcome to use the trolley located outside the main door to bring up your luggages to second or third level of your hotel rooms.<\/p>\n

The room is pretty cosy and come with heater, coffee & tea maker and microwave oven.<\/p>\n

Bathroom come with shower and a bathtub together with the toilet.\u00a0 Cleanliness is up to my standard. Towels are all white and no odour.<\/p>\n

The small wardrobe come with several wooden hangers, iron board and iron.<\/p>\n

Tea & Coffee maker place on top of the microwave oven so you will know the space is quite limited.\u00a0 The room is not that spacious for American standard, may be this is Hollywood.<\/p>\n

At each level, there are few vending machine for drinks and snacks.<\/p>\n

There is a small oval pool & jacuzzi at the back of the hotel.<\/p>\n

A small restaurant is located at the first floor near the reception, named “Spice”.<\/p>\n

Facing opposite is Magic Castle Hotel<\/a> which has very beautiful outlook when comparing to Best Western Hollywood Plaza Inn<\/a>.\u00a0 But then the price is also quite different.<\/p>\n

Final thoughts :<\/strong><\/p>\n

What I like about Best Western Hollywood Plaza Inn is the great location, just within 15 mins walk to Hollywood Walk of Fame.\u00a0 The only downside is you may experience some noise when some other guests walk pass the corridor.\u00a0 The price is very competitive in Hollywood downtown area.\u00a0 This is more like a motel to me but the price is not cheap.<\/p>\n
