Double Tree by Hilton San Diego – Mission Valley<\/a> is located in the center of San Diego. The hotel is very beautiful with friendly staff and has great location.\u00a0 Restaurants and shopping are just next door.<\/p>\n

You will receive warm chocolate cookies upon check in. I thought it was due to Christmas seasons but then realised it is Double Tree trademake cookies.\u00a0 Every Double Trees Hotel will present the warm cookies when their guests check in.<\/p>\n

The hotel lobby<\/strong><\/p>\n

The hotel lobby is very spacious and few areas where you can sit and relax.<\/p>\n

Business Center<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Business Center is located near the lobby.<\/p>\n

Conference Rooms<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are several conference rooms in the hotel.<\/p>\n

Bar area<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can have your drinks outside the bar if you need some fresh air.\u00a0 There are fire place to keep you warm.<\/p>\n

Fitness Center<\/strong><\/p>\n

Double Tree by Hilton San Diego – Mission Valley<\/a>\u00a0has complete workout area for any gym lovers.\u00a0 There are plenty of machines for cardio lovers and full sets of dumbells and barbell and other machines for resistance training.<\/p>\n

Clean towels are available at the fitness center.<\/p>\n

Indoor Pool<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are two pools in this hotel both are heated.\u00a0 One located indoor next to the gym area.<\/p>\n

Outdoor Pool<\/strong><\/p>\n

The outdoor pool located at outside the bar area also breakfast area in the morning.<\/p>\n

The hotel room is very spacious and comfortable.\u00a0 Cosy and clean.<\/p>\n

A nice sofa for you to relax and watch tv.<\/p>\n

Bathroom & Toilet<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is shower which run both hot and cold water and a clean bathtub.<\/p>\n

Clean towels are fold neatly at the rack.<\/p>\n

\"San<\/a><\/p>\n

If you open the wardrobe, iron and iron board are there in case you need to iron your clothes.<\/p>\n

\"San<\/a><\/p>\n

But, charges for water!<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no complimentary mineral water.\u00a0 If you drink the water on the table, you need to pay $2.95 for a bottle.\u00a0 Quite expensive I find, we just went to nearby supermarket to get our drinks, less than $0.50 or zero cents if you drink from the tap.<\/p>\n

Crabtree & Evelyn Toiletries<\/strong><\/p>\n

The toiletries provided in the room are all Crabtree & Evelyn brand which has very mild and soothing frangrance.<\/p>\n

The breakfast buffet offer pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, hashbrown, salad, tea or coffee and orange juice. Pretty standard.<\/p>\n

Trolley Bus<\/strong><\/p>\n

Opposite the hotel, you will find trolley bus which link you to most major attractions.<\/p>\n

Hazard Center – a mall with shops and restaurants are within walking distance.<\/p>\n

Final thoughts :<\/strong><\/p>\n

Overall I had a great experience in Double Tree by Hilton San Diego – Mission Valley.\u00a0 The whole hotel, lobby and hotel rooms are very clean and well kept.\u00a0 The hotel room is very spacious and comfortable.\u00a0 Plenty of space to move around beside having three huge suitcases in the room.<\/p>\n

What I most delighted was receiving the warm cookies from the front desk!\u00a0 It was such a nice gesture!\u00a0 The cookies are still very warm and taste wonderful as we just need some bites before finding our dinner.<\/p>\n
