Zhangye LV Zhou Holiday Hotel<\/a> is newly opened in 2015, upon entering you will feel the hotel is still very new. Outside the hotel, there are many restaurants and supermarkets, so it is very convenient if you are looking for something to eat.\u00a0\u00a0 I didn’t get a chance to really explore the nearby as I was too tired from a busy schedule.<\/p>\n

Hotel Room Review\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When you entered the room, you feel that the room is bigger and more spacious than the usual hotel room.\u00a0 The floor is well carpeted and the wall is decorated with a Chinese ink painting.\u00a0 The bed is very comfortable, firm and with clean bed sheet.<\/p>\n

\"Hotel<\/a><\/p>\n

There are bottles of\u00a0 complimentary mineral water (not all hotel in China has complimentary mineral water) but there is always a water boiler in the hotel room.\u00a0 Chinese people love to drink warm or even hot water.\u00a0 They believe it will keep their stomach healthy with the very warm water.<\/p>\n

You will also notice the furniture in the room are mostly are plain\u00a0polished wood with carved lacquer which were common in China since Ming Dynasty.<\/p>\n

Flat screen TV and Wifi is available, but in China you cannot use Facebook and whatsapp messages and Instagram, unless you have your own data roaming.<\/p>\n

Bathroom Review<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This is one of the best bathrooms during my Silk Road Hotel stay.\u00a0 The bathroom is very spacious and equipped with all the necessary things.<\/p>\n

There are also complimentary free toothbrush and comb plus other usual toiletries. These days hotel don’t usually provide toothbrush and comb anymore as it is not environmental friendly.<\/p>\n

The best part is the toilet and shower room are being separated with two doors.\u00a0 Showers are running well with hot and cold water.<\/p>\n

The wardrobe is also nicely carved with the Chinese “Ruyi” pattern.<\/p>\n

Hotel Breakfast Review<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Complimentary breakfast started around 6.30-7.00 am.\u00a0 Since it is in China and Zhangye City is a tourist spot, you will find there are already tourists waiting outside the restaurant before the breakfast start.\u00a0 It is buffet style breakfast and you get what you like from the smorgasbord.\u00a0 You can also ordered the famous Lanzhou beef noodles from the noodle counter, the chef will make you a hot noodles but sometimes the queue for noodles are slightly long.<\/p>\n

Nearby Hotel<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Plenty of shops and restaurant outside the LV Zhou Holiday hotel, so it is pretty convenient.\u00a0 The hotel is about 30 mins to Zhangye train station.\u00a0 You may also want to catch the bus to the city,\u00a02 buses (19\u8def\u548c\u96441\u8def\uff09to the city.<\/p>\n

Final Thoughts :<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The hotel room in\u00a0 LV Zhou Holiday hotel<\/a> is spacious and equipped with beautiful wooden\u00a0carved lacquer furniture.\u00a0 I also love how the toilet and shower are being separated with two glass doors, which make the bathroom very tidy.<\/p>\n

Too bad, I was too tired to take pictures of facilities of this hotel so I don’t have much memory how the front desk look like.<\/p>\n
