We stayed around <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/02\/where-to-stay-in-kyoto-biwako-hotel-review\/\">Biwako<\/a> another scenic district which is about 30 km away from Arashimaya. (Half an hour drive by car). If you are driving, always choose to stay outside of the city center, that way you could enjoy a good quality hotel with the same price paid in the city center. The puller is dressed in their traditional Japanese outfit and they will explain the history of the places and tell you where to dine and what to eat in this place. They also help to take pictures of you when they reached the best spot for photography.\u00a0 You can experience 30 min, 1 hour or 2-hour ride with them.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25781\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/20181102_092506_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"844\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You would have a nostalgic cultural experience and feel like you have entered a different time in history.\u00a0 It is most suitable for travelers who are not fit to walk or want to rest your feet or old grandparents.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25784\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/20181102_094527_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"686\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/02\/kimono-rental-review-what-you-need-to-know-about-kimono\/\">Renting a kimono<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Arashimya is another good location to try Kimono experience beside<a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/02\/explore-kyomizu-dera-in-kimono-is-a-perfect-match-for-your-kyoto-experience\/\"> Kyomizu Dera<\/a>, <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/02\/strolling-in-gion-the-gesha-district-in-kyoto-japan\/\">Gion<\/a> and <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/01\/the-bowing-deer-at-nara-top-14-things-you-need-to-know-before-you-visit-nara-park\/\">Nara Park.<\/a> There are a few plans for you to choose from, such as Furisode (the long sleeves kimono, usually wear by a young lady who is still single.) and the short sleeves kimono.\u00a0 Short sleeves kimono usually cost cheaper and it is not made from silk, starting price at around 3000yen (USD 26.80), while the &#8220;Furisode kimono&#8221; can cost up to 10,000 yen (USD 89.34) above.\u00a0 All plans including free hairdo make up.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25777\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/20181102_092510_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"805\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Saga-Arashiyama Area Shopping Street<\/h3>\n<p>It is the main street of Arashiyama, always crowded with tourists and human rickshaws.
