Originally egg tart is coming from Portugal then spread to Macau and Hong Kong and other Asian countries.<\/p>\n<p>Queen Sophie is specialized in egg tarts, located in Mong Kok. You will get attracted with the big collection of egg tarts here.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25876 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/20190322_143121.jpg\" alt=\"Queen Sophie Bakery - A Bite of Love in Mongkok Hong Kong\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The bakery is small but it has over 30 kinds of egg tarts and different pastries. The egg tarts are so cute and colorful, all sort of flavor and each with a unique and creative presentation.<\/p>\n<p>All their baked tarts displayed neatly by the glass window.\u00a0 Customers usually ordered and take away as there are no seats available.\u00a0 There is only a standing table if you want to eat in.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25878 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/20190322_143813.jpg\" alt=\"Queen Sophie Bakery - A Bite of Love in Mongkok Hong Kong\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Queen Sophie has their own signature of 386 crispy layers in their egg tarts. Not sure it is really 386 layers but it was printed in their take away packaging box.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25881 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/20190322_143933.jpg\" alt=\"Queen Sophie Bakery - A Bite of Love in Mongkok Hong Kong\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I tasted their passion fruits chocolate tart and marshmallows tart.\u00a0 Both tasted awesome even though I have it after a few hours I purchased from the shop.\u00a0 The passion fruit with chocolate was a nice choice as the passion fruit tasted a bit sour which went so well with the sweet chocolate.\u00a0 While the marshmallows tart was soft and a bit chewy on the first bite and melted in the mouth.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25883 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/20190322_152508.jpg\" alt=\"Queen Sophie Bakery - A Bite of Love in Mongkok Hong Kong\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1365\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sophie Queen bakes not just ordinary egg tarts but egg tarts with different variations.\u00a0 It is pretty fun to stand at the window glass to admire the beautiful creation and choose what you like.\u00a0 The staff will line them in a nice box to take away.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25884 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/20190322_152802.jpg\" alt=\"Queen Sophie Bakery - A Bite of Love in Mongkok Hong Kong\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1365\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Final thoughts:<\/h3>\n<p>My only regret was not getting of these beautiful egg tarts and try out one by one.\u00a0 Anyone who is visiting Mongkok and love sweet desserts should check it out.\u00a0 The price is reasonable, around<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Egg tart is called &#8220;daahn taat&#8221;\u86cb\u631e in Cantonese and can be found in the Dim sum restaurant or Cha Chaan Tengs restaurant or tea restaurant in Hong Kong.
