VIP Executive Santa Iria Hotel<\/a> is located 15 mins drive from Lisbon center, the location is great especially if you are driving with your own rental car. The hotel is hidden in an industrial area, look casual and modern and it is an only 8-minute walk from Santa Iria train station.<\/p>\n

\"VIPPersimmon and orange tree were found outside the hotel. Persimmon is pronounced as “caqui” in Portuguese and Spanish and it is also pronounced as “kaki” in Japanese. Can you believe it has the same pronunciation?<\/p>\n

A little praying house at the entrance of the hotel, next to the orange tree.<\/p>\n

\"Hotel<\/p>\n

The hotel is big (124 rooms) and is able to host events and meetings. It has a swimming pool and a jacuzzi and surrounded by a beautiful garden. There is also parking and free Wifi connection.<\/p>\n

As mentioned, it is located in Santa Iria de Az\u00f3ia district of Lisbon, an industrial and housing area. Nearby you will find the Vasco da Gama mall (20 mins) and Lisbon airport (15 mins).<\/p>\n

There is a weighing machine at the front lobby but you need a one dollar Euro to use the machine to weigh your luggage.<\/p>\n

VIP Executive Santa Iria Hotel has 124 rooms, quite spacious I find and comfortable. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, minibar, cable TV, safe deposit box, desk and private bathroom.<\/p>\n

I love how the shower and bathroom are separated by the glass door which makes it very neat to use.<\/p>\n

Bidet<\/h3>\n

A separate bidet wash bowl is common to have in Portugal and Spain bathroom. The bidet is usually located adjacent to the toilet bowl. I find it very interesting as I have never seen one before. It does not have a lid and it took me quite a while to figure out how to use it. I think I still prefer the Japanese one-touch electronic toilet (which include the function of bidet wash) works better and so smart! It is also easier to use as you do not need to hop from one toilet bowl to another and do not need to wet your hand at all. The Japanese toilet is fully automated, just with one touch at the buttons in the panel.<\/p>\n
