During our stay in Gold Coast Queensland, we choose to stay in Mantra Towers of Chevron<\/a> located in heart of city center in Surfers Paradise. This resort is a service apartment and offers stylish, relaxing Gold Coast accommodation.<\/p>\n

There are a number of reasons why you should choose to stay in Mantra Towers of Chevron.\u00a0 Check it out.<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Huge reception counter<\/h3>\n

In the beginning, you may find the hotel apartment is confusing as it is just so huge and there are three towers.\u00a0 However, after a while navigating, you will get familiar and like it here.\u00a0 The security is good as you need to scan the hotel card to go up and also from entering from towers to towers.<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Room Review<\/h3>\n

Mantra Towers of Chevron is big and there are in total three towers home to spacious 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments with full kitchens and laundries.<\/p>\n

We were lucky to have our room at a high rise floor with a balcony with sea view.<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Our apartment has two rooms, one with two single beds and one with queen size bed which can stay up to 4 pax.<\/p>\n

Room with Queen Size Bed<\/h3>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Bathroom Review<\/h3>\n

There is only one bathroom with toilet and bathtub, that’s the downside for 4 pax sharing.\u00a0 Toiletries, such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion are provided.\u00a0 Clean towels too.\u00a0 However, the power of the dryer is super weak.\u00a0 If you have bushy thick hair, you may want to bring your own hairdryer.<\/p>\n

Kitchen Review<\/h3>\n

There is an oven, stove, fridge, and clean plates and bowls so you can do your own cooking.\u00a0 Laundry is also available but please bring your own detergent.<\/p>\n

View from the Hotel Room<\/h3>\n

From our room, we are able to see the iconic architecture, Q1 (Queensland 1) tower with spire.<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Restaurants & Shopping Review<\/h3>\n

The good thing about this hotel is it is very convenient to find something to eat.\u00a0 There are lots of restaurants from international cuisine.\u00a0 The only problem is there are too many choices and we don’t know what to have for our dinner.<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Chop Chop Asian Street Food at Cavill Lane<\/h3>\n

Just right downstairs of the hotel apartment, less than 5 mins walk, there is an Asian Street Food called Chop Chop, Asian inspired dining destination with street food and alfresco vibe.<\/p>\n

It has Ramen Danbo, Rice vs Noodle, Little Elephant, Bangla Road, Yum Cha Noodle Haus, Ace Thai, Shushi Ave, Yummy Golden Sands, Bali in Paradise, Dumpling Mama, Fragrance of India and Korean Kitchen. You can find almost every cuisine in Asia.<\/p>\n

Rice Vs Noodle<\/h3>\n

We decided to have our meal at Rice vs Noodle.<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Kimchi Fried Rice<\/h3>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Korean Bulgogi<\/h3>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Asian Grocery<\/h3>\n

There are several Asian groceries stores and we found one called Lucky Mart and went in to get some instant noodles (for our breakfast tomorrow).<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

These instant noodles are imported from Korea so it is pricy as compared to the instant noodles found in the local supermarkets like Coles and Woolies.<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Liquor Store<\/h3>\n

You cannot find any liquor in the local supermarket in Australia, instead, liquor is sold at specializing liquor store.\u00a0 Liquor is so cheap here as compared to back home.<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

Moscato White<\/h3>\n

Asian love something sweet so we bought a Moscato wine, which is famous for its sweet flavor.<\/p>\n

\"Where<\/p>\n

We were lucky to spot firework at the beaches of Surfers Paradise but not sure what was the occasion.\u00a0 The fireworks last for more than an hour.<\/p>\n

Free Open Air Movie at the Cavill Lane<\/h3>\n

The equipment in the gym is not little, it has several machines and lots of weights.<\/p>\n

\"WhereThere two pools and an indoor and outdoor pool.<\/p>\n

Outdoor Beach Like Pool<\/h3>\n

Car Park Review<\/h3>\n

Lots of spaces for the car park but not many are able to park as most lots are reserved.\u00a0 It took us 20 mins to find a space.<\/p>\n

Final thoughts:<\/h3>\n

There are few things I love about\u00a0Mantra Towers of Chevron<\/a>, the sea view balcony and the awesome location where restaurants and shopping are just within walking distance.\u00a0Great facilities with indoor and outdoor pool and sauna.<\/p>\n
