All the attraction can be reached by walking.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28810\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190606_145821.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1365\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While it may have a convenient city center location, Novotel Sydney Central is situated in a quiet corner &#8211; allowing guests easy access to the city, and at the same time, providing a peaceful &amp; privacy from the hustle and bustle.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel is located in the corner of the &#8220;no through road&#8221; very near to the Sydney Central Station. The Clock Tower, picture below is where Sydney Central Station located, only 5 mins walk to the Central Station.\u00a0 The Central railway station is a heritage-listed railway station so if you are not driving, you certainly need to check it out, the Central railway station also links to all Sydney suburbs, including the city stops, such as Town Hall (QVB Shopping &amp; George Street),\u00a0 Circular Quay (Harbour Bridge &amp; Opera House), Martin Place (Financial Center &amp; Banks), St James (The Botanical Garden &amp; David Jones Shopping).\u00a0 You can catch the interstate train here at Central Station, eg <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/07\/top-7-things-to-know-before-you-visit-newcastle-australia\/\">Newcastle.<\/a> (about 3 .5 hours by train)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28790\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190605_143851.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"753\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28789\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190605_143740.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"635\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Charged Parking<\/h3>\n<p>There is a charged carpark, (not belong to Novotel) just next door and it is inter-connected to Novotel at the ground floor.\u00a0 You do not have to come out from the car park, use the inter-connection path instead.\u00a0 Pretty cool with a good pathway made for huge luggage with wheels.<\/p>\n<p>Parking in Sydney is expensive so be prepared.\u00a0 We paid for about AUD35.00 for an overnight.\u00a0 Most hotels in Sydney CBD do not include free Parking and do not have their own parking space.\u00a0 People who travel to Sydney usually do no use a car to explore the city area, best is by public transport or by foot.<\/p>\n<p>For those who are doing a road trip and have a car with them, then Novotel Central Sydney is ideal because the car park is located just right next door.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28791\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_144718.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>The Lobby<\/h3>\n<p>I have to say the lobby is very spacious with lots of sitting areas and corner.\u00a0 The layout is brilliant, it can cater to different small groups of guests.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28813\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190606_145948.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Bar is located at the front lobby near the restaurant, that&#8217;s where you will have your breakfast if you want it to be included.\u00a0 Our stay did not include breakfast as we prefer to just go to Chinatown to have our breakfast, lot of choices there to choose from.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28814\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190606_145952.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Children Corner<\/h3>\n<p>There is even a corner dedicated to children, bean bags, toys, tv with cartoon aired and storybooks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28812\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190606_145944.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Free Cookies<\/h3>\n<p>There are free cookies at the front desk, so I took a few cookies to fill me up before my dinner.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28801\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_155114.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1234\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Lifts to go up<\/h3>\n<p>There are three lifts to bring their guests up and down, we didn&#8217;t experience any waiting time at all even in the peak hour in the morning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28815\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190606_145957.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>To the Hotel Room<\/h3>\n<p>There are in total 18 floors and we stayed on the 14th floor. The total number of rooms is 255 and all are non-smoking.\u00a0 The floor is all carpeted and looks clean.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28800\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_150343.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Hotel Room Review<\/h3>\n<p>We booked for triple sharing which include two queen size bed, a sofa, table, and chair.\u00a0 The lightings in the room are very bright which I was very much happy about it.\u00a0 The room is also considerably spacious.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28793\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_150104.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The TV and table and chair.\u00a0 A Sydney Guide is also available if you need some information.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28795\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_150118.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A small mini-fridge to store some cold beer and fruits and a kettle are available to use for hot coffee and tea in the morning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28799\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_150213.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Toilet Review<\/h3>\n<p>I won&#8217;t say the toilet is very crowded at all since it is located in the city center and I am very petite.\u00a0 There is bathtub and shower with glass window which I prefer more than the curtain as it stops the shower water from splashing out to the floor.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28792\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_150100.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Clean towels and toiletries are provided, the floor and everything seem to be very neat.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28794\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_150112.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>The view<\/h3>\n<p>Looking out the window is the skyscrapers, nothing fancy.\u00a0 No <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/07\/discover-sydney-harbour-with-captain-cook-cruises\/\">Sydney Harbour View.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28796\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_150133.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Nearby Attractions<\/h3>\n<p>The funny building below (only 3 mins walk, on the way to Darling Harbour) is the Business School of UTS (<a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/08\/the-brown-papaer-bag-in-sydney-uts-university-of-technology-sydney\/\">University of Technologies Sydney<\/a>), built by a famous architect named Frank Gehry, a Canadian born America who built several important architectures around the globe.\u00a0 Pay a little attention to look at the glass windows and the whole appearance, does it look like a &#8220;squeezed brown paper bag&#8221;?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28803\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_155712.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Powerhouse Museum<\/h3>\n<p>If you or your kids are interested in Arts &amp; Sciences, then pay a visit to the Powerhouse Museum which is only 5 mins walk from the hotel. On the way to Darling Harbor and behind the <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/08\/a-visit-to-the-largest-chinatown-in-australia-sydney-chinatown\/\">Haymarket, Chinatown<\/a>. The old steam engine or the Appollo Expedition to Moon exhibits can be found in the Powerhouse Museum.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28806\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190605_155942.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"659\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Market City<\/h3>\n<p>The Sydney biggest flea market &#8211; <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/08\/a-visit-to-the-largest-chinatown-in-australia-sydney-chinatown\/\">Paddy&#8217;s Market<\/a> is located in the basement of Market City, about 5 mins walk from the hotel.\u00a0 If you are looking for some cheap Australian souvenirs, key chain, sheepskin, kangaroo skin &amp; nougats, Paddy&#8217;s Market is a good place to find them.\u00a0 If you want something more elegance or classy, go up to the higher level of Market City.\u00a0 And if you are a fan of Mr. Meng (Meng Fei \u5b5f\u975e &#8211; the Chinese host for &#8220;You are the one&#8221;\u975e\u8bda\u52ff\u6270, then please go up to Market City third level to dine at <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/08\/\u975e\u8bda\u52ff\u6270-\u5b5f\u975e\u7684\u5c0f\u9762-mr-mengs-noodle-sydney-haymarket-australia\/\">Mr. Meng&#8217;s Noodle Restaurant \u5b5f\u975e\u7684\u5c0f\u9762<\/a> with Chinese Sichuan cuisine &#8211;
