We spent 2 nights to live near the <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/08\/top-10-things-to-see-in-sydney-cbd-australia\/\">Sydney CBD area<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/08\/australia-novotel-sydney-central-hotel-review\/\">Sydney Novotel Central<\/a> which sits at <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/08\/a-visit-to-the-largest-chinatown-in-australia-sydney-chinatown\/\">Chinatown<\/a> and 2 nights we moved to Holiday Inn Sydney Airport. We usually prefer to switch hotel and do not like to stay more than 2 nights at the same hotel.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.agoda.com\/partners\/partnersearch.aspx?pcs=1&amp;cid=1769828&amp;hid=5393\">Holiday Inn Sydney Airport<\/a> is located only minutes away from Sydney Airport. It is situated in the heart of Mascot precinct of restaurant, cafes, bars, and shops. It is only 450m from Mascot Railway Station and just a 15 min train ride from the city center. If you are driving a car, there is a charged carpark underground.\u00a0 I was just pretty amazed at how busy Mascot has become, the city of Mascot use to be a very quiet place.\u00a0 But now, it has several hotels and surrounded by lots of eateries. So finding dinner is not an issue.<\/p>\n<p>Mascot suburb in Sydney is a nice location especially if you are driving a rental car as the parking fee is cheaper compared to Sydney CBD.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28899 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190608_082437.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"763\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>The Lobby<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28900 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190608_082443.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Free flow of chocolate at the front lobby.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28903 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190608_082727.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Hotel Lift<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28901 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190608_082448.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"710\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Gym Facilities<\/h3>\n<p>The gym opens 24 hours, located in the basement also where you access the carpark.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28889 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190607_183719.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The gym is not very big but it has a few cardio machines and some weights.\u00a0 Clean towels are also available at the corner.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28891 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190607_184652.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Hotel Room Review<\/h3>\n<p>A coffee maker, kettle, complimentary tea bags and coffee, cups and glasses are available. Water in the bottle is charged.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28893 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190607_184854.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We booked for triple sharing, there are two queen-size beds, a work station with lighting.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28894 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190607_184858.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The lighting in the room is bright if you turn on all the lights.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28897 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190607_184942.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Toilet &amp; Bathroom Review<\/h3>\n<p>This is a pretty standard Holiday Inn hotel, it provides all the necessities for their guests. Clean towels, toiletries and good water flow of the shower.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28895 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190607_184926.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28896 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190607_184936.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Parking<\/h3>\n<p>We paid AUD 25 for overnight carpark.\u00a0 There is an automated gate locked so it is pretty safe to park overnight. Inform the front desk when you check out the hotel so they will provide you with a ticket to go out of the car park.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-28904 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190608_082807.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Inn Sydney Airport - Hotel Review\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Final thoughts:<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.agoda.com\/partners\/partnersearch.aspx?pcs=1&amp;cid=1769828&amp;hid=5393\">Holiday Inn Sydney Airport<\/a> is ideal for guest who wanted to catch the early flight as it is only minutes away from the Sydney International and Domestic Airport.\u00a0 Even if you do not need to rush to the airport, I would still recommend you to stay in Holiday Inn Sydney Airport because it is still very convenient as it is only 10 minutes to Sydney CBD.\u00a0 Great for guests who have their own car as the car park fee is so much cheaper than the hotel in the city center.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During our Australian road trip, we spent 4 nights in Sydney to explore the biggest city in this country.
