Only 10 mins drive and 20 mins by tram.\u00a0 You will love St Kilda neighborhood, trust me. Not only it is close to beaches, but it also has lots of cafes, restaurants, and pubs. This lovely neighborhood also has lots of Victorian old vintage homes that ages over hundred years old, really charming and nice to look at even from the outside.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29788 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190611_164400.jpg\" alt=\"Things I love about St Kilda Melbourne, Australia\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Luna Park<\/h3>\n<p>Luna Park Melbourne offers one of the hot spots to shoot your Instagram photos. Located at St Kilda, just 6km south of the Melbourne CBD. I was not interested in the amusement park at all as I am not into rides, especially wooden rollercoaster tracks. I find it unsafe.\u00a0 Anyway, Luna Park does not open every day, it opens every weekend and during the school holiday.\u00a0 Do check online to get your tickets to avoid lines.<\/p>\n<p>Luna Park is a historical amusement park which was opened since 1912, so expect the old vibes here. However, it&#8217;s iconic clown&#8217;s face with big mouth is the entrance, and it is a popular spot for IG photos.\u00a0 Thousand of photos with the clown&#8217;s face was featured in the IG accounts from people around the globe.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29779\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190611_160800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"921\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Palais Theatre<\/h3>\n<p>Next to the Luna Park is the Palais Theatre, the old historic auditorium was recently revamped and held concerts here.\u00a0 The building looks new and grand from the outside.\u00a0 Go catch some live music and enjoy your favorite stars in this handsome theatre.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29774 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190611_155554.jpg\" alt=\"Things I love about St Kilda Melbourne, Australia\" width=\"1024\" height=\"855\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/10\/australia-melbourne-st-kildas-novotel-hotel-review\/\">St Kilda Novotel<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>We stayed in <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/10\/australia-melbourne-st-kildas-novotel-hotel-review\/\">St Kilda Novotel<\/a> (the white building in the picture below) and the beach just sits opposite the hotel.\u00a0 We parked our rental car in the hotel and walked over to St Kilda beach.\u00a0 Really convenient.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29786 size-full\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>St Kilda Beach<\/h3>\n<p>The shore is home to all kinds of sport and the water is safe for swimming.\u00a0 No matter which seasons, there are always people at the beach to enjoy the beautiful nature.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29784 size-full\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>St Kilda Foot Bridge<\/h3>\n<p>The cute little footbridge made a great photography spot and there are photographers shooting sunsets from the arch of the footbridge here.<\/p>\n<p><img about St Kilda Melbourne, Australia\" width=\"1024\" height=\"527\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Palm Trees in St Kilda<\/h3>\n<p>The palm tree has been closely associated with St Kilda so you will see beautiful tall palm trees all over the beach area.\u00a0 This made me think of <a href=\"\/wordpress\/2018\/01\/7-things-to-do-in-beverly-hills-90210\/\">Beverly Hills in California<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img \/><\/p>\n<h3>St Kilda Botanical Garden<\/h3>\n<p>If you are into plants and flowers, then visit nearby St Kilda Botanical Garden which has even more exotic plants.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" panoramic views and best in the golden hour.\u00a0 Walk to the end of the pier and you may catch a glimpse of the little penguins clambering\u00a0back to their nests.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>St Kilda Yacht Club<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29797 size-full\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Captain Cook&#8217;s Statue in St Kilda Beach<\/h3>\n<p>Cook was the 18th-century British explorer who came to Australia, first landed in Botany, New South Wales, Australia. There are a number of things named after Cook, and one of them is<a href=\"\/wordpress\/2019\/07\/discover-sydney-harbour-with-captain-cook-cruises\/\"> Captain Cook Cruise in Sydney Harbour.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29799 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_20190611_170158.jpg\" alt=\"Things I love about St Kilda Melbourne, Australia\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Cafe &amp; Restaurants<\/h3>\n<p>The main street in St Kilda is Fitzroy Street where you find lots of cafes, restaurants, and pubs and offer all kinds of cuisines.\u00a0 We choose Japanese as we prefer to have some Asian taste.
