Amazing Budapest, Hungary<\/strong><\/p>\n

From Krakow to Budapest took us about 6 hours by bus. \u00a0It was such an enjoyable ride just to sit back and relax, watching the beautiful houses built along the highway to Budapest.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The houses built on the hill look so cozy and each houses has their uniqueness.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Orava Castle in Slovakia<\/strong><\/p>\n

We passed by a beautiful castle in Slovakia and it was just breathtaking. Orava Castle is the most beautiful and largest castle in Slovakia. \u00a0It was on the way from Krakow to Budapest. \u00a0What make it so unique it is situated on a very high rock and it look so ancient. \u00a0Do not miss out this Orava Castle!<\/p>\n

Lunch at Donovaly Slovakia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Donovaly is a small village in central of Slovakia. \u00a0It is famous for their ski resort and the ski slope. \u00a0We were here in summer so there is no snow.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We stopped for lunch, had a medium steak but it was so scary to find the steak was quite rare.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

My experience has taught me is wiser to order a “well done” steak in European country in future.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Budapest<\/strong><\/p>\n

Budapest is the capital of Hungary and it is also the largest city. \u00a0I can tell you\u00a0it is truly one of Europe\u2019s most beautiful cities! \u00a0What I like most about Eastern Europe is the things here is cheaper compare to western Europe and the scenery is just breathtaking.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

“Budapest” is the combination of the city names Buda and Pest. \u00a0Buda on the western bank of the Danube and Pest on the bank opposite.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The hotel that we stayed has two map on the wall showing the two cities, Buda and Pest.<\/p>\n

A night of culture : Folk Dance Dinner<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hungarian are passionate people and you can feel the way they dance. \u00a0We had dinner at a restaurant, having the authentic Hungarian dinner and watching the tall handsome guys with beautiful ladies dancing in front of us. \u00a0Oh yes, don’t forget the live music. \u00a0I specially love the violin and the accordion the Hungarian musician played. \u00a0Third time I listen to accordion in Eastern Europe. \u00a0First was at Prague, second time was at Krakow and third time was here in Budapest. \u00a0I hardly see people playing accordion in Asia.<\/p>\n

It was a memorable night of traditional live music and dance performances presented alongside the delicious cuisine that Hungary is famous for.<\/p>\n

Budapest Tram<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tram is the second most important backbone of the transit system (besides the bus network), carrying almost 100 million more passengers annually than the Budapest Metro!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Budapest Danube River Cruise Tour<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was almost 9 pm when when we were about to get into the cruise ride. It was summer but the cruise ride was still very cold.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Danube River is the second longest river in Europe and flows through 10 countries in Europe.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Summer is just the right season to explore Europe! \u00a0You have a longer day to explore and cooling weather, not too freezing cold but still very comfortable! \u00a0Night cruise was way bit colder so you need a thicker jacket.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We were waiting for the sky to turn dark so that we could see more lights up.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Hungarian Parliament Building<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the Hungarian Parliament Building before the light up, sits next to the river bank of Danube, located in the Budapest city. \u00a0Even before the light up, it looks awesomely beautiful.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This is one of the iconic landmark of Budapest, especially after the light up at night. \u00a0The Hungarian Parliament Building is the largest and tallest building in Budapest.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This is truly one of the most memorable journeys of my life\u2014a discovery of new sights, authentic cultural connections, a journey back in time.<\/p>\n
