The drive is smooth and scenic, taking about <strong data-start=\"289\" data-end=\"300\">2 hours<\/strong>, making it perfect for a short getaway. Here\u2019s how my day unfolded!<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"169\" data-end=\"370\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-40551 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/1.jpg\" alt=\"My Cameron Highland day trip from Kuala Kangsar\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1195\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"372\" data-end=\"432\">1. Hobbitoon Village \u2013 Early Lunch with a Magical Twist<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"951\">My first stop was <strong data-start=\"451\" data-end=\"472\">Hobbitoon Village<\/strong>, a charming spot straight out of a fairytale. There\u2019s quite a lot of uphill walking, but luckily, there\u2019s a <strong data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"589\">tram<\/strong> to take you around. I even had a chat with the tram driver \u2014 turns out they are <strong data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"684\">Orang Asli<\/strong>, the local indigenous people, which added an extra layer of connection to the place. The village is perfect for an early lunch while soaking in the whimsical vibes. Exploring the little Hobbit-style houses and snapping photos felt like stepping into another world!<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"951\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-40554 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/4.jpg\" alt=\"My Cameron Highland day trip from Kuala Kangsar\" width=\"1024\" height=\"927\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"1004\">2. Lavender Park \u2013 Relax and Lunch at Domino\u2019s<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"955\" data-end=\"1245\">Next, I headed to the <strong data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"994\">Lavender Park<\/strong> to enjoy the fragrant blooms and colorful scenery. For lunch, I opted for <strong data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1087\">Domino\u2019s Pizza<\/strong> inside the shopping mall near the park. Why Domino\u2019s? Simple \u2014 it\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1170\">convenient<\/strong>, has <strong data-start=\"1176\" data-end=\"1192\">easy parking<\/strong>, and I could grab a quick meal without any hassle.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1517\">We had <strong data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1266\">6 people<\/strong>, and the total bill was surprisingly affordable \u2014 <strong data-start=\"1317\" data-end=\"1335\">just over RM90<\/strong> for 2 pizzas, 12 chicken wings, garlic bread, drinks, some side dishes, and even dessert \u2014 their banana pizza. The Sheep Sanctuary \u2013 Alpaca Paradise<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1401\" data-end=\"1761\">The final stop of the day was the <strong data-start=\"1435\" data-end=\"1454\">Sheep Sanctuary<\/strong>, and I made sure to arrive around <strong data-start=\"1489\" data-end=\"1497\">4 PM<\/strong>, as it closes at <strong data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1526\">5:30 PM<\/strong>. While it\u2019s called the Sheep Sanctuary, the real stars are the alpacas! They roam freely, and you can feed, pet, and take photos with them.
