It is one of the China&#8217;s Big Five mountains, also considered the most scenic spots in China. \u00a0I was walking to the ticket hall for cable car up to Hua Shan.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0010.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4663\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0010.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"845\" height=\"747\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hua Shan is well-known for its dangerously high or steep trails and cliff. \u00a0Many tourists fell and die each year. \u00a0Quite scary but I was very excited to see Hua Shan myself after seeing so many Kung Fu movies during my childhood day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0023.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4485\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0023-576x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"933\" challenge.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>South Peak (Landing Wild Geese Peak)<\/li>\n<li>West Peak (Lotus Flower Peak)<\/li>\n<li>Middle Peak (Jade Maiden Peak)<\/li>\n<li>North Peak (Cloud Terrace Peak)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0021.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have only made up to few peaks but not all. \u00a0I have conquered one of the peak &#8211; the North Peak at sea level 1614.7 m.<\/p>\n<p><a 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mount Hua is distinct in China, you see most mountains are of limestone, in consisting of a huge body of granite, formed during the cretaceous period over 100 million years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Look at the below picture, the lady in blue and me were both stunned when we saw how steep the trail is. \u00a0You could imagine how bad it is from our face expression.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0015.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I finally made it to the higher point, not the highest but I was quite happy about where I have conquered, not many people managed to made it up here. \u00a0There are some steep slopes where\u00a0there is no steps so you have to climb or I would said crawl using both hands, like a spiderman move.<\/p>\n<p>The below steep stairs up is almost 90 degree up, very frightening indeed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0035.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img 501w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 459px) 100vw, 459px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The view is spectacular once I was at the top, I sat down for a while and dreaming how the Kung Fu heroes hopping in between each mountain, fighting with each other using their best swords, this is called &#8220;Hua Shan Lun Jian&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This place is full of tourists so just be extra careful, especially at some of the edge of the cliff.<\/p>\n<p>Do wear a comfy shoes, best if you wear <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globosurfer.com\/best-hiking-boots-for-flat-feet\/\">hiking boots<\/a>, plenty of sunblock and wear a hat to avoid sunburn. \u00a0If it is not windy it is wise to bring an umbrella. \u00a0You can also wear gloves to hold on the rail \u00a0beside the steps up the steep mountain. \u00a0In rainy day or winter, the ground can be very slippery so bring in a pair of gloves to hold on to the rail can never goes wrong.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0013.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img Dinner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Roast duck in Xian tasted similar to Beijing Roast duck, I really couldn&#8217;t tell any difference. \u00a0I love roast duck, especially the crispy skin along with plum sauce and thin crepes and some cumcumber in which to wrap it all<\/p>\n<p>I know it could be very unhealthy and oily but it is just too yummy to resist. \u00a0I had a satisfying feast in the Xian Roast Duck Restaurant.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0041.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" Xian City<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After dinner we walked to the nearby shopping area near the hotel and do some shopping. \u00a0I have bought few pairs of shoes as there were on sales. \u00a0Met some old ladies on the roadside selling their knitted things. \u00a0Bought 2 pairs of baby knitted shoes, \u00a0very tiny just suitable for my dog. \u00a0Rmb 20 one pair.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0043.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Xian Metro &amp; Xian City<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Xian Metro also known as Xian Subway, it has 3 lines in operation. \u00a0Xian is the starting point of the Silk Road and home to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang but beside that, it is also an important cultural, industrial and educational center. \u00a0The Xian JiaoTong University\/\u897f\u5b89\u4ea4\u901a\u5927\u5b66 is located in the city of Xian, passed by the University while we were in to town the other day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG-20160610-WA0044.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large 20 km north of Xian City. It is a joint tomb of Liu Qi Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty and his Empress Wang.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Underground Glass Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/03-Terracotta-Glass.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4680\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/03-Terracotta-Glass-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is an interesting underground museum, where you need to look down instead of looking at your left and right for the olden days artifacts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miniature Terracotta Warrior<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Han_Yang_Ling_59.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4679\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Han_Yang_Ling_59-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"295\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Emperor Jing is a very thrifty guy, he ordered to built his terracotta warriors only 1\/3 size of a real human being which saved a lot of cost.<\/p>\n<p>These terracotta warriors are very mini as compared to the Emperor Qing Shi Huang&#8217;s terracotta. \u00a0You will wonder why there is no arms on these terracotta.
