This Maharaja was also associated with Hawa Mahal (953 windows palace) and Jantar Mantar (Sun clock).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mubarak Mahal at City Palace Jaipur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mubarak Mahal means &#8221; Auspicious Palace&#8221;. \u00a0It is now a museum open for public showing a variety of textiles such as royal formal costumes, embroidered shawls, Kashmiri pashminas and silk saris. \u00a0Photography is not allowed in the museum.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_9572-1.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5152\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_9572-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_9572-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_9572-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_9572-1-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The King&#8217;s Clothes\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Inside the museum there is a giant voluminous clothes worn by the fat Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I, who was believed to weighed 250 kg and had 108 wives. Compared to China&#8217;s Emperor, 108 is still consider a smaller number as China&#8217;s Emperor\u00a0usually have few thousands wives.<\/p>\n<p>Beside the King&#8217; clothes, you can also see the amazing \u00a0and stunning royal fashion, which include dresses of the Princesses and Queens displayed in this Textile museum. \u00a0Since I love fashion, this is a great place for me to explore slowly. \u00a0Some of the dresses wore by the Princesses and Queens were so heavy over 9kg, that they could not stand and walk but needed a wheelchair to move around. \u00a0I wouldn&#8217;t want that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diwan-i-Khas &#8211; Hall of Private Audience\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the \u00a0place Mahaja held his meeting with his important officials and ministers. \u00a0The highlight of this place is to look for the two silver Giant Jars! \u00a0 These silver jar weigh around 340 kg and are display at the entrance.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_9606-1.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5159\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/IMG_9606-1-1024x786.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"403\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Biggest Silver Jar in the World<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These are the biggest silver object which hold the Guinness World Record. When the Maharaja traveled to England, he carried the water of the Ganges River to drink on his trip as he was worry about committing religious sin by consuming the English water.<\/p>\n<p><img
