\u00a0If you go by car, it is best if you could park your car at the nearest parking lot at the King Albert Park \/KAP Parking lot. \u00a0Then walk for 10 mins and you will see the iconic Bukit Timah iron railway bridge. \u00a0Since it was my first time to explore the railway track, I had a hard time figure out the way to go up the iron cast bridge.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180027.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7208\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180027-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180027.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180027-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180027-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I finally found a small lane to go up the iron cast bridge and have a closer look at the bridge. \u00a0Great place for photography. \u00a0Have you wonder why photographers love railway tracks? \u00a0It is because the tracks create great leading lines in the image. \u00a0Don&#8217;t worry, this old railway track is perfectly safe as no more train passes by here and it is meant for photography lovers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180603.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7209\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180603-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180603.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180603-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180603-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After the iron cast railway bridge, I walked further in to check out the Bukit Timah Railway Station. \u00a0I am just curious how does it look like.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180910.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7210\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180910-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180910.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180910-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_180910-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I walked for about 5 mins, then finally saw the Bukit Timah Train Station.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181052.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7211\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181052-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181052-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181052-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181052.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bukit Timah Railway Train Station<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The station was closed down when the Malaysian-operated KTM railway service in Singapore stopped operations in 2011. \u00a0There is only one platform in this train station. \u00a0Pretty small but it has long history. \u00a0It was first opened in 1903 and rebuilt in 1932. \u00a0Now, there is a fence built to stop you from going in the train station. \u00a0The station was constructed in the style of traditional stations commonly found in the small towns of the United Kingdom and Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181454.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7212\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181454-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181454.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181454-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181454-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nowadays this place is a paradise for nature loves and their dogs. \u00a0Dogs run around freely. Joggers and bikers enjoy the lush greenery heaven. \u00a0I saw some Secondary school teens were shooting their\u00a0theatre productions at the forest.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181503.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7220\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181503-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181503.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181503-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_181503-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Railway Mall &#8211; Upper Bukit Timah<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Railway Mall is another location, different from the Bukit Timah Railway Train Station. \u00a0This one is located at 380 Upper Bukit Timah Rd. \u00a0This place has more visitors as there is a Railway Mall which has many restaurants to choose from. \u00a0Only limited parking lots are available. \u00a0If you come during peak hour such as lunch or dinner time, it may be a bit hard to find a parking.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184435.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7213\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184435-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184435.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184435-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184435-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I normally come here for my dinner and ordered\u00a0the Hainanese chicken rice in the Railway Mall Arcade. \u00a0There are some\u00a0restaurants at the Railway Mall, few that I could remember are Toast Box, EAT, Bak Kut Teh, Subway, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Coffee Bean and some bar and pub for western food. \u00a0Yes, there is a Cold Storage Supermarket at the far end.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184541.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7214\" src=\"http:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184541-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184541.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184541-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thinkerten.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/20170528_184541-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Before I walked up to the railway track, there is a Prata restaurants which look very popular as the whole restaurant was full house when I passed by.
