Vietnam Hanoi Itinerary – 4 Days 3 Nights Free & Easy

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and upon you touched down at Noi Bai International Airport, you will notice the propaganda poster along the streets or highway which capture your attention! Pictures with the image of soldiers holding a gun, painted with simple lines and bright colors to stand out their subject and theme.

Most people will choose to stay in Old Quarter Hanoi, a place full of local streets food and nearby to many tourist spots such as water puppets show or iconic Hoan Kiem Lake.  At night, you will see a grand party near Hoan Kiem Lake in Old Quarters, especially during the evening of Friday, Saturday & Sunday when night markets open!

Day 3: Trang An Bicycle Tour cum Boat Tour & Bai Dinh temple in Ninh Binh

What I like about Trang An is the countryside field bicycle tour, it was fun riding along paddy fields, seeing chicken and goats running around with the backdrops of limestone mountains.

Where to stay?

There are many hotels and hostel in the Old Quarter.  I stayed at May De Ville Old Quarter Hotel for my entire 3 nights.  May De Ville located at the Old Quarter so it is super convenient if you wanted to do night shopping. Just 5 mins walk to reach the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake and the water puppet show theater.

While the city pays tribute to the ancient roots, Hanoi offers a thoroughly modern experience for visitors.
