How far from London to Liverpool? It is about 4 hours, 220 miles. But our origin is Warwick, about 2.5 hour. Saw some modern windmill along the highway to Liverpool. I find them very pretty sit on the plain.
We stopped by a rest area, they called it “service” in UK after driving for an hour and a half. They have the ‘drive through’ Starbuck if you don’t want to get down from your car.
We needed a break so ordered some hot coffee and used the bathrooms in the rest area. Most toilets are free in UK, unlike in western and eastern Europe, the toilet fees are quite high, about Euro 1-2 dollars per entry.
Beside football what do you have in Liverpool? Yes, the Beatles!
Again, finding a car park is one of the challenging task. Luckily there are plenty of open air car park located opposite of the Beatles Museum.
Car Park at Albert Dock

This is one of my favorite! The Beatles most glamour costume for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band!

Cuban Lunch : Revolución de Cuba Liverpool
This is a pub restaurant which offer Cuban food. We sat outside thinking it was a nice weather but the wind was still quite chilly. Also someone from the next table smoked cigarettes which troubled me a bit. Anyway what we ordered were really tasty but portion was quite small. Very satisfied with the good Cuban Food at Albert Dock.
