The Theme Is “Endless Wonder”

Have you start preparing you Christmas presents already? If you have not, come down to Orchard Road to shop for your Christmas present and check up their light-up. The theme for this year is “Endless Wonder” which cover from Tanglin Mall to Plaza Singapura. You can see a lot of the color shades are in purple, blue and silver on the street lights installation and the main arch. This year the light up start from 3 pm, can you believe it?

I was here at Orchard Road on last Sunday evening 12 Nov. The light-up ceremony started one day before I was there, which is on 11 Nov, Saturday. Our President was there to kicks off the official light up ceremony.

You can actually cast your vote and choose your favorite building. Let’s check out which is the Best Dressed Building for 2017 in Orchard Road. Voting start from Nov 17 to Dec 3.

Santa is wearing a space suit, I guess he is delivering the presents at the outer space.

Traditional Christmas Trees is always a must in the decoration. This one at 313 look pretty normal but the lights used are pretty awesome.

This corner at Mandarin Gallery uses big and small present boxes instead of lights.

From the stretch between Wisma Atria and Mandarin Gallery, you will encounter a lot of people queuing to enter the little stalls set up temporary to celebrate Christmas event.

SK-II With Neon Installation – Must Try

This is an interesting pop-up store which feature many colorful of LED lights. I would relate some of the lights are similar to the Yayoi Kusama’s creation but I am not sure what you would relate to? Go check out this awesome photogenic location outside the Mandarin Gallery.

Christmas Village -operate from Nov 25 to Dec 25

This should be one of the highlight in Orchard Road as there will be plenty of activities each day including cosplay and performance. The starting date is from Nov 25 so when I was there on the first Sunday, the Christmas Village set up were not there as yet.
