Woodland Waterfront Park located near Admiralty Park, about 5 minutes drive. This place is very popular among residents and visitors from all age group. Total size of the park is about 11 hectare, you can explore with a rental bike which save you a lot energy & time from walking.
When I arrived on a Sunday morning, the park was already quite busy with few activities going on. The biggest crowd were doing Zumba Dance with hit Japanese song & Korean pop song. Really cool vibes, make me wanted to join them too!
The longest Jetty – highlight!
There is a jetty here which is also one of the jetty in Singapore which offers a 1.5km waterfront promenade and views of the Causeway and the Straits of Johor. If you come during sunset, the view and color of the sky is even more stunning!
Fishing & Picnic at Jetty
Along the Jetty, you will find many people trying to set up their fishing rod and reel. Many families has also lay out their picnic mat and start their Sunday bonding time! For me the coolest thing to do is to ride a bike or walk along the jetty and enjoy the breeze!
Unblocked view of Johor Straits
At the end of the jetty, there are police CCTV to see if there are any illegal smugglers.
Rasa Istimewa Waterfront Restaurant
You may like to plan a dinner here at Rasa Istimewa located at the Jetty. Operating hour is from 12 pm to 12 am. Offer halal barbecue and other hot chili specials.
Playground at Woodlands Waterfront Park
Woodlands Waterfront Park cannot be completed without the playground. Young children would love playground, over here the playground has equipped a series of two storey high sky walk for children. Adult can accompany their child climb up as the net on top can get a bit wobbly. This is the time to train child’s confidence and experimenting with emotions.
Mushrooms were found after a long rain last night. Very pretty but not sure these are poison?
Well-trimmed Lawn – great for picnic & kite flying
Wonder there is no place to go in the north? Head north to Woondlands Waterfront Park for a romantic sunset, family picnic bonding time or biking time with friends! This place offer something for everyone!
Final thoughts :
The highlights of this park is the long jetty walk. Do it during sunset should be a romantic one. Bring along your kids and there is a big playground. You can also rent a share bike to explore this place.

Singapore is somewhere that’s definitely on my bucket list for the future, even more so after reading this post! Those mushrooms are absolutely huge though – did you find out if they were poisonous or not? x
You need about 4 days 3 nights to explore Singapore. Those mushrooms are so adorable and I did not want to disturb them so I did not touch them at all. Don’t think they are edible.
