Hello Kitty Town Malaysia At Puteri Harbour Malaysia

Hello Kitty is no foreign to anyone, it was actually created by a Japanese company named Sanrio that specializes in designing and branding the cartoon characters. Similar to the Sanrio Character Park in Kyushu Japan that I visited few years ago, Hello Kitty town is much smaller, located in JB near Legoland Malaysia.

Little Twin Stars, My Melody, and Keroppi are some of my childhood’s favorite characters, I have collected several items, such as pencils, pencil case, wallets, handkerchiefs and handbags.

This is is great place if you have very young kids, (below 6 years old). The rides are easy for these age range kids, parents can ride them together too.

Thomas Town is also another selling point here so doesn’t matter your child is a girl or boy, they will have a fair share to play. You will see the pink from Hello Kitty and the blue for Tomas Train.

Get some snacks ready for young kids as things sold in this little theme park are very expensive.  You can stay up to 2 hours because the theme park is quite simple.  It has the Hello Kitty’s house deco which make great photo opportunities, activities areas (Some of the fun activities are jewelry making & cookies baking or even dress up and get a dance class from Angeline Ballerina), the teacup ride which can be done with adults, a play area and the “Hello Kitty in Oz World” sections. The stage and the show will be one of the highlights for the kids to get fun interactions with performers.

The souvenirs of Sanrio Products are sold here but not cheap.

Puteri Harbour

The Hello Kitty Town is located in Puteri Harbour. You will find lots of restaurants mostly western and bars here.  The good thing is the view at Puteri Harbour is a bonus if you dine here.

Final thoughts:

Hello Kitty town is great for the family with toddlers, best before 6 years old.  Both boys and girls have something interesting to do.  If you are a fan of Hello Kitty town, this is the place for you.

This is like something out of a dream! I’ve only seen photos of Hello Kitty themed places, but I’ve yet to see this town in Malaysia. It’s very cute, and would be perfect for my little niece! Shame the souvenirs are expensive!
