Where to stay in Macau – Grand Emperor Palace Hotel Review

There are so many hotels to choose from in Macau and we choose Emperor Palace Macau located a block west of the Grand Lisboa, (10 mins walk). Upon arriving at the hotel, there are two tall Buckingham Palace type guards stand by the main door wearing bearskin hats and holding machine guns. The daily changing of guards happen at around 12 pm.

The hotel-casinos are owned by Emperor Entertainment Hotel Group. Just to name few artists from Emperor entertainment are Nicholas Tse, Twins, Boy’z.

“Handy” smartphone is a complimentary guest amenity, it offer free connectivity, content, services – find where to eat and shopping and goggle map too. The phone is at the hotel room and you are free to take it out and use in Macau.

I just recently learned that there is a Venetian resort and casino in Macau like there is in Vegas. I’d love to check that out sometime!

Macau is also known as a little Vegas in Asia, hence there are casino resorts everywhere.

What an incredible hotel! The gold carriage is impressive. Having use of a cell phone and robot is also very impressive.

Dear Sam,

Thanks for your comment. The gold carriage at the entrance is pretty cool, too bad it is only for show and guests are not allow to go up the carriage. The robot is very cute and she can answer almost everything perfectly. I asked about her age and she mentioned she was in her mid 20s and still single. LOL

From your review, this is such a great hotel to have our accommodation. The hotel looks amazing and very convenient location. As it is in the city near all the establishment we need. Actually I been in Macau last past 2 years but it’s work so I haven’t try any hotel there as we have our own flat to stay but I’m thinking of a tour with my family there in the near future.
