Quality Resort Siesta, Albury Australia Review

When you are doing a road trip from Sydney to Melbourne, Albury is a good stop to break your journey in between. Albury is a small quiet town that has few things to look at, such as the Hume Dam and the Historical train station.

During our visit to Albury, we choose to stay in Quality Resort Siesta, Albury. The hotel has a little touch of colorful Mexico style compound. 4.5 stars, a total of 88 suites in the 5 landscaped acres.

I had my first experience with Quality Inn Santa Barbara in California and it was not bad so checking in again to Quality Resort Siesta in Albury Australia.  However, Quality Inn Santa Barbara does include complimentary breakfast but over here in Quality Resort Siesta Albury, no complimentary breakfast.

It was not hard to find the hotel despite the sky has already turned dark, it was winter so the sky turned dark quite fast, at around 5 pm. The hotel sign is very clear at the entrance and at the reception.

24 Hour Reception

The reception is simple and the staff at the counter is friendly to meet us and help us to check-in, it is a 24-hour reception.  We were given a simple map to help us navigate this hotel.

Bullring Restaurant

It is the signature restaurant and bar that opens only at nights from 6 pm onwards for dinner and drinks.  The ambiance is like old barn wood and looks like a good place to have your dinner.

Room Review

Visitors are allowed to park their car right outside the room which is a good thing!  So convenient to bring in my big luggage in the room.  And if I have forgotten something inside the car, I can just walk out to take it.  The car porch is also sheltered.

We booked the hotel for 3 pax sharing which has one queen size bed and one single bed.  The room is carpeted and looks super neat.  Heater and air-conditional are working well.  I am glad the bed is very comfortable and I have a good night sleep.

Quality Resort Siesta, Albury Australia ReviewAs you can see the room is very spacious with a flat-screen tv and a working table and two chairs. Hot water kettle and hair-dryer are also available.  You are given fresh milk when you check-in and we store the fresh milk in the small fridge in the room for the next morning breakfast for coffee and tea.

Special Service

We were surprised that our car windscreen was clean early in the morning.  A little note was placed at the wiper. A truly warm gesture.
